Comfort and respect for nature

Camping Zoo in Arco has been run by the Salvaterra family since 1976. We focus on caring for our guests and catering to their needs, and because of that, during the past few decades the campsite has undergone renovations and enlargements, ensuring the highest comfort and an excellent service for adults, kids and your four-legged friends at all times.

On the one hand guests can savour the experience of nature, listen to the animals’ sounds and the constant flowing of the river, appreciating the simple and lush picture of a green oasis. On the other hand, they can enjoy a wide range of modern facilities for a stay filled with comfort and wellbeing close to the town centre of Arco, just 1.5 km away. During its more than 40 years of Activities, Camping Zoo has been a destination for sports lovers.

In particular for MTB, mountain climbing, via ferratas, and hiking aficionados, and for all those who have chosen to spend their holidays in the lush nature of Alto Garda. The campsite was one of the first in Trentino Alto Adige to cater to sport tourism, back in the days when it was just a novelty in this area. This type of tourism was consolidated in the 80s thanks to establishment of the worldwide climbing competition Rock Master Arco, and in the 90s with the Bike Festival, making Camping Zoo one of the best destinations.

Beautiful camping site near Arco. Costs 10€/night per person to camp here (using your own tent). There is a nice river right next to Camping Zoo and plenty of rock climbing spots nearby. There's free WiFi too.

A serene place. Friendly staff, clean and beautiful services. A lot of nice animals to which, not as much as I would like, I add i with friends and my Berry dog.

We fell in love with this campground and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is super relaxed. The type of people that come here are nature lovers and active couples/families. I love how this place is crowded in the right way! The new pool is great as is the bar next to it. You can watch the kids while enjoying a good pizza or apperitivo. The village nearby has everything you need, stores, supermarkets etc. The campground has a little store as well. Our family will come back here. Next to Riccione, this is my new favorite place to be! Please stay away because I would like to see this place not get too crowded 😛

Nice camping to lay on, friendly people, and we rented a big tent. It is not to cheapest camping but still was very nice.. It's near the city of Arco. It's a 10 minute walk. Here you will find a lot of stores with climbing and bike clothing and gear. A lot of little bars. You can rent a bike and go even further to Riva (15 minutes by bike). This is a beautiful Italian city across the Garda. Overall 4 stars- Nice clean rented big tent (4 people, 2 different sleep compartments and little kitchen, power supply, refrigerator, cooking plates and still a lot of room.- Little store for food and drinks and other stuff- Friendly people- Clean toilets and showers- Swimming pool (9am / 8pm)- Playground for children. (Slides, pingpong, socces game, and a climbing wall)
